Open Telekom Cloud voor zakelijke klanten

The Open Telekom Cloud for enterprises is coming in March – beta testing in February

by Editorial team

Until now, anyone wanting to operate their IT infrastructure in a cloud had few alternatives to US providers. However, this is set to change at CEBIT 2016: The Open Telekom Cloud, a secure, easy-to-understand and affordable public cloud for business customers of all sizes, will be launched on March 14. This will enable small and medium-sized businesses, for example, to access state-of-the-art cloud services that previously only large companies could afford – at very affordable prices, in high quality and with the best possible security.

In addition to the focus on German data security and contracts governed by German law, Deutsche Telekom also offers a comprehensive end-to-end service for getting started, migration and operating applications in the public cloud.

As early as February 2016, prospective customers will be able to test the Open Telekom Cloud free of charge as part of a beta testing program.

Secure cloud for companies “made in Germany”

The trend is clear: More and more customers are discovering the benefits of the public cloud for themselves, but they want a European alternative. There are already numerous prospective users and exclusive test customers for the Open Telekom Cloud. An affordable service, intuitive operation and expert advice will help you get started.

The cloud is “made in Germany” and therefore adheres to German data protection laws. Compliance challenges thus pose no obstacles when transitioning to the public cloud and digitizing your company and the problems caused by the Safe Harbor ruling of the European Court of Justice are a thing of the past.

Flexibility and independence thanks to open-source technology

The Open Telekom Cloud is based on the open-source software OpenStack. This makes it easier for companies to opt for the Open Telekom Cloud because they are not bound to a single platform as is the case with other providers. Jürgen Wilde, Vice President Cloud Partner at T-Systems: “We know that companies will use different cloud services in the future, so not only do we offer our customers security, service and maximum performance, but also independence – they don’t have to tie themselves to a single provider.”

Business customers need advice, not just technical service

“We provide advice and support before and after purchasing, train employees and help with the migration – including first- and second-level support, which is a unique benefit. Our many years of experience as a cloud provider here at T-Systems and Deutsche Telekom is available to decision-makers, and our focus on data privacy and security gives us a decisive advantage for German and European companies.”

The Open Telekom Cloud is another example of Deutsche Telekom’s large ecosystem of partners that is constantly being expanded, including providers such as SAP, Salesforce, Cisco, Microsoft and many others, as well as smaller companies and startups. With Deutsche Telekom and its partners, companies can address their digitization needs in a simple and future-proof way.
