The Data Replication Service (DRS) is a cloud-based service provided by Open Telekom Cloud that enables online database migration and data replication across different databases. It supports real-time synchronization and migration of data from the source database to the destination database, ensuring minimal downtime and data consistency. DRS provides a secure and efficient way to migrate data between different database engines, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and more. The service supports various migration scenarios, including online migration, offline migration, and data synchronization. With DRS, users can easily migrate their data to the cloud, ensuring business continuity and minimizing the risk of data loss.
This new feature DRS is only available in “Data Synchronization Management” between MySQL as source database and MySQL as target database.
