We would like to inform you that the EVS Common I/O Disk will reach its “End-of-Life” (EOL) on January 1, 2026. By this date, all existing EVS Common I/O Disks must be migrated.
To simplify the migration process, we provide a “Disk-Type Change” functionality in the OTC Console. This feature allows the customer to migrate the disk type, for example, to “High IO” (see further Information here).
For RDS customers affected by the End-of-Life (EOL) of Common I/O, the migration cannot be completed yet. Only for these customers, the EOL is currently set for March 1, 2026, subject to the condition the “Disk-Type Change” feature will be in place. Further adjustments or changes may occur (see further Information here).
