New Minor Version 8.5.0.1 of Data Warehouse Service (DWS) offers following new Features.
New Features:
- DWS supports inspection before upgrade and scaling operations to check for cluster problems and provide guidance for customers to rectify the problems, improving the change success rate.
- DWS can export cluster parameters to an Excel file on the Data Warehouse Service console.
- DWS can export a list of all users and their permissions from the Data Warehouse Service cluster list page in Excel format.
- DWS displays the progress and details of cluster snapshot restoration, including the restoration progress, start time, end time, backup set, restoration phase, and restoration rate.
- After adding idle nodes to a cluster, the cluster preparations (such as downloading installation packages and establishing cluster mutual trust) are progressed as individual steps that can be revisited. This progression does not affect any existing service clusters.
- Checking the dependencies and constraints of each phase before warm backups improves their success rate and allows for quick replacement of any faulty nodes on the live network.
- To evenly distribute pressure across the rings and prevent CNs of different users from affecting performance in resource isolation scenarios, Data Warehouse Service adjust the default CN distribution rule of the cluster and add new CNs to different rings.
- Intelligent O&M supports small CUs and zero-CU clearance.
- Full incremental backup of cold and hot tables is supported.
